Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Kanjwal is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Padder Health Services, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders and cardiovascular conditions. With extensive experience in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, complex ablations, and cardiac device procedures, he is committed to providing advanced, personalized care to patients with complex heart rhythm conditions.

Dr. Kanjwal graduated from Government Medical College, University of Kashmir, where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency. He subsequently completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India.

He continued his medical training in the United States, completing his Internal Medicine residency at Sisters Hospital, affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Medicine, followed by a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at SUNY Buffalo, New York. He completed additional advanced training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, through the Tufts University program.

Dr. Kanjwal has extensive experience in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias and advanced electrophysiology procedures. His expertise includes complex ablations for atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardias, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia, and PVCs, as well as the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and other advanced cardiac devices.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kanjwal has held leadership positions in cardiovascular electrophysiology. He served as an electrophysiologist and Director of the Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Laboratory at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he also became a Professor of Medicine. He later helped establish a cardiovascular fellowship program and directed the electrophysiology laboratory at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He subsequently served as Electrophysiology Lab Director at LifeBridge Health’s Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

Dr. Kanjwal has extensive academic and research experience, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. He joined Padder Health Services in May 2026 as a Staff Electrophysiologist, bringing decades of specialized experience in advanced cardiac electrophysiology and heart rhythm management.
